Working together, we can implement solutions that keep you warm and comfortable while saving energy and money—and positively impacting the environment.

Home Performance with ENERGY STAR®

South Jersey Gas has partnered with NJ Clean Energy’s “Home Performance with Energy Star” program to bring special financing and rebates to our customers. Here’s how it works:

First, a Home Energy Expert will assess your residence by conducting a Home Energy Audit. Your Energy Expert will provide you with a list of recommended upgrades. Then, based on your energy-efficient upgrades, you may qualify for the following incentives:

  • Up to $10,000 in financing at 0% for 7 years
  • Up to $15,000 in financing at 4.99% for 10 years
  • Up to $4,000 in rebates from the NJ Clean Energy Program before December 31

Equipment Upgrade Financing Program

South Jersey Gas Customers can choose 1 of 2 options available for financing and/or rebates:

Option 1.
Upgrade to a qualifying high-efficiency natural gas water heater and a qualifying high-efficiency natural gas boiler or furnace:

  • Get $11,000 in financing at 0% for 7 years
  • Take advantage of up to $700 in rebates from the NJ Clean Energy Program
  • If you install a qualifying combination heating and water heating system, you may take advantage of up to $700 in rebates from the New Jersey Clean Energy Program

Option 2.
Upgrade to a qualifying high-efficiency natural gas water heater and a qualifying high-efficiency natural gas boiler or furnace and get up to $1,300 in rebates:

  • Up to $600 from South Jersey Gas
  • $700 from the NJ Clean Energy Program
